Zoom Halloumi and mascarpone

During this online session, learn to make halloumi and mascarpone – you can either get involved working alongside Louise or watch from a distance to make in your own time.

Recipes and theory will be forwarded prior to the class, along with the required equipment list.  General kitchen utensils will be suitable i.e, 2 litre saucepan, stirring spoon, sieve, dinner plate etc.  Importantly for cheese making – all must be very clean! You will be advised which type of milk to purchase – 2 litres and a 600ml tub of double cream for the mascarpone.

The price of the session is £25pp and I do recommend that you purchase my revised cheese making kit essentials, reduced now to £20 incl p&p. It includes the mould, thermometer, cheese cloth,  veg rennet etc that you will require for halloumi.  Much of this is a one off purchase which you’ll be able to use again and again and as we move to other cheeses, your only extra materials will be cultures etc.

Students must have access to Zoom, I will send the link prior to class commencement.
